How do I delete an old myspace profile that I cant login to, and do not know the password or email to?

It's very important, my friend has a myspace profile that is old, and does not know the email to and cant remember the email or password to. It's got really stupid stuff on it and he wants it gone. I used to know the info and he won't stop bugging me about it and getting upset with me because I dont know the login information eithier. I feel bad because this profile is the first thing that comes up usually when you search his name on a search engine like Google.. so please help.





-1. Is there a phone number to contact myspace about with this problem?





-2. Could anyone hack into or teach me how, so I could get rid of the profile?

if you dont even know the email, then there is nothing you can do





just think about how easy it would be for anyone to get anyone else's profile deleted if that was possible





why is it so "important" to get it deleted?





myspace does not have a phone number you can call, and "hacking" is illegal
Reply:I think you can email myspace and have them delete it but if you do not know any of the information I do not think they will help you much.





But they will want at least the email.





The only thing I could think of is if you have lots of people mark it as spam or block the profile you will have it deleted.

Reply:I have the same problem, except I don't have anything embarrassing. Sorry to hear about your situation. Your best bet would prolly be to email Tom. You may have to do some verification to make sure that's really you. Other wise all I can do is wish you luck with that!


I have a email account with yahoo, but everytime I try to log in it won't allow me. I login infor is right.

Yahoo has been having major server issues since at LEAST Jan. 10, seemingly just with particular servers. And what's happening to you is unfortunately one of the many problems that people are having because of them, and Yahoo doesn't seem to be in any particular hurry to solve them. Their "tech support" is nothing but a joke right now. And the problems are not just w/Yahoo Beta or IE7; I and others not using either are having similar problems. But both do have more problems; if you're using Beta, it's still in the testing stage and has a lot of problems, so go back to original Yahoo mail, and the same w/IE7, go back to IE6 until MS irons out all the problems.


I've had to use another acct.provided free by my ISP to send/rcv important e-mails since Jan. 10, and it's been working just fine the whole time. If you don't have another acct.w/another provider besides Yahoo, I'd strongly advise to get one; it makes a good backup in case of problems like this.

And since that original posting, they've also sent another e-mail that they've escalated the problem (or should I say problems!) to their engineering department, which is an indication of major problems, and not just a minor S/W "glitch."

BETA MEANS TESTING! It lasts for at least 6 months!!!

My first suggestion is to use your ISP, Internet Service Provider mail accounts if you are having problems that can't be corrected by going back to IE6 and Yahoo! Original Mail!!!





To get in mail:


You will have less problems with original mail if you sign in via Messenger! Go to preferences, general, then check box: Automatically sign me in when I click a Yahoo! link in Messenger. Or go to My Yahoo and click on your mail link. Or Click on the Big RED Y! on the Yahoo! Toolbar. Bottom line is any link that already has you signed in!!!





This has been going on for over a couple of months now. It is a server problem between IE7 and BETA MAIL.


This is the only thing that I have found for a fix until testing is over. So, if you don't have BETA MAIL or IE 7 and are having some of the following problems, contact Technical Support: http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/us/mail/c...

CAN NOT FIND SERVER: Go to Tools, Internet Options and on the general tab, Delete Cookies, Temporary Files and Clear History. That should do it for you!





I believe it will solve MOST, MOST, all the problems people are having if you Switch Back to Original Mail, until it is out of the TESTING STAGE. AND IF YOU HAVE IE7 or IE8, uninstall it by going to Start Control Panel/Settings and then Add and Remove Programs. Try it and if it doesn't solve your problem just SWITCH BACK TO BETA MAIL!

It did it to my account because I keep going back and forth to Original and Beta. Then for some unexplained reason it says I need new Flash updates. But the page looks unofficial. Thats saying I need Flash. Besides my Avatar works here on Yahoo Answers. This seemed like they did this a week after PhotoMail was removed.

Part 2 New: I just checked this after I answered. Guess what? Go to Avatar and they will give you a link. I updated from it and I now have Avatar in Email.


On youtube, i cannot login in my own account. and i have checked the email address, it has not been changed?

I wouldn't worry too long. Many times every day,


YouTube shuts down some of their own servers


in order to update various stuff.





However I am beginning to see many questions


just like yours often on YahooA, so I did tons of


Googling, searching and reading, going through


dozens of multiple combinations, permutations,


variations and results for:


-- "youtube", "password"


-- "username", "user name"


-- "log", "login", "log-in"


-- "sign", "signin", "sign-in"


-- "doesn't let me", "does not let me"


-- "won't let me", "will not let me"


-- "can't log", "cannot log"


-- "doesn't log", "does not log"


-- "won't log", "will not log"


as well as using the word "sign" instead of "log".





After all of that time, the best that I could come


up with for you are these possibilities:





1) There might be something going on with your


security software or "firewall". Perhaps it is not


permitting you to send out any of your personal


info -- or if you are a very young person, maybe


your parents have put a "block" on it.





2) If you're using Firefox, your problem could be


related to "cookies" or "exceptions". If "cookies"


are accepted, YouTube might be an "exception".


Therefore, you should either "allow" YouTube to


store "cookies" or simply remove YouTube from


the "exceptions" list. You can access all of this


by clicking Tools %26gt; Options %26gt; Privacy.





3) I don't know why, but one person on a forum


discussion thread said he presseed CTRL + F5,


and for some reason it worked for him.





4) The only other thing that I can possibly think


of is that there is a false "cookie" that installed


itself on your computer and is now sending out


wrong information. Even if you don't think that's


the case, clear your "cache" of all its "cookies".


While you are at it, do the same with all of your


"temporary internet files" and "history" (in order


to reset everything). Whatever your problem is,


this is something you should consider doing at


least every few weeks:





Please let me know if any of these possibilties


does the trick for you, so that I can incorporate


them into my future Yahoo Answers whenever


a similar question comes up.



Reply:Did you try to change your password. If not maybe you should make a new account. If you try to log on every day then dont get on for a couple of days and then log on again to see if that works.

Why does it take 20 login attempts to access http://us.f565.mail.yahoo.com (check email)?

Does anyone else seem to be experiencing this problem when they login? If so how many login attempts does it take before successful login page? Do you also receive network connection failure message when trying to login? When attempting to log into email are you also routed to http://us.f565.mail.yahoo.com?





Thanks for the info, figure we might as well try doing some techie legwork in advanced...since I cannot seem to find any current records...and since logging into my email and reporting this atm seems futile.

http://us.f565.mail.yahoo.com is the Yahoo Mail Beta download and mail page address. If the download page hangs on you for a time, you are likely using a dial-up connection, and it just takes awhile for the mail program to download.





Yahoo Mail Beta is a beta release, and some users experience a lengthy download time. This is likely to improve as the program development progresses.





Participation in the beta release program is voluntary, and you are not required to use it. If you continue to experience lengthy download times to your disliking, you can click the SWITCH BACK link at the top of the mail page to return to the standard version until more of the bugs are worked out.

i don't think you put your email correctly, check it again because your email should be ****@yahoo.com instead of @yahoo.co.i...
